Have you ever slowed your step while walking down an alley?  How about while climbing, frozen toe after frozen toe, up a mountain peak polished by fresh snow?  Ever paused for a quick moment in an unfamiliar nook?  All just to take a gander, a directed gaze, looking closer at territory previously unexplored by your eyes.  If you haven't, I suggest you do.

The world around us is worth pausing for, examining.  Taking advantage of engaging glances at my surroundings, I traverse photography, writing, illustration and design.  I'm a journalist at heart, drawn to documentation.
